Facehugger

So I’ve had a cough for a really long time; and my pulmonologist finally let me go for a CT scan of my chest. Parts of the scan look like there is an alien facehugger inside me!

In reality, only an alien chestburster would be able to live within you. I’m not complaining though; being part alien would be cool; if it upgraded my abilities:

If you had to have any type of alien encounter (really think deeply about this), would you be afraid; and would you hope for them to enhance you in some way? What would you like them to do to you?

I’d definitely be scared! Unless the encounter was with E.T, then it’s chilled. I’d hope for them to be able to answer all my questions; and give a full and accurate timeline of the history of Earth/ the Universe; and i wouldn’t say no to superpowers either.

  1. I’d probably be a bit scare during an actual encounter, unless I knew that the alien was harmless. If there was one living inside me, though, I’d freak the hell out! Not sure if upgraded abilities would be worth it…

  2. Well if it was a facehugger or any type of parasite then I’d probably run as fast as I can. Otherwise if it can talk and doesn’t try to take over my body then its worth at least conversing with!

  3. From a Ben Ten perspective then sure why not. From a Transcendence perspective but it’s Alien rather than Johnny Depp coursing through my veins and seeping through my subconscious then no thanks. I like making decisions for myself and even better if the cohesion is not symbiotic.

  4. Depends on the alien… the monstery kind that doesn’t talk and looks like it wants to eat you are scary… but if it appears to be trying to communicate, I’d be more willing to give it a fair shake.

  5. I look at CT scans of the chest all the time and never made the connection as you did… Thanks for posting the pic. Did the doc give you the whole scan? Watching it morph through the chest is pretty cool too. I hope your cough is better and your health is better. ~
